Sail-away #3

We started out the third sail-away with a new crew member. Jonny is from England and will be here for the next two trips. He is a great guy and always makes us laugh.

This group was from all over....America, Sweden, Holland, Switzerland and Germany. They all learned really quickly and the first day sailing went very well. Ten days flew by and here we are awaiting a new group on Monday.

The following pictures are mostly ones I gathered from the group. Thanks to all who contributed!

These are the string of island we sail....

One of the highlights of the trip...we saw Prince Charles' boat as he vacationed in Greece.

One of the guys brought a kite and flew it as we motored along.

Sail-away #2

Finished up the second sail-away on Friday. This was an all German group. It was a bit challenging as many spoke only a bit of English but we all worked well together and had a great two weeks. Paul and I knew more about sailing so we were able to help instruct people as well as crew the boat. There was not much wind this time so we spent alot of time motoring around the island.

Calm waters

"Shark baiting"

The last guy looked familiar!

Paul and I gave surfing a try....

We are able to tour the island of Skopelos with the group one day. It was a lot of fun.

Mama Mia church! We climbed up the island and swam around it as well.

Robert was the leader of the German group. He was a really wonderful guy and very encouraging.

Some pictures of life around the boat....

The dreaded sea urchins....

Dolphins!!

Working working!

Paul is always encouraging me. Love this picture that one of the Germans took.

Thats all for this week. The next group arrives tonight.
I'll post again in two weeks! Have a wonderful day.
