Since it only comes around once every four years I though it could use some honor.

Girls Date

Saturday was a beautiful day for a girls date. Six of us headed out to a quaint little part of Kansas City. We ate lunch at a little bakery and then walked around to the different shops. It was a wonderful time spent with sisters. :)

Project Shutters

A few months ago we asked our landlord if he had any old wood laying around his place. He did and said we could use whatever we wanted. So a few weeks afterward we headed to his huge barn and found some amazing wood. It was perfect to add a rustic touch to our house.

Super Bowl in Springfield

The Super Bowl was a great day. We had a lot of good times at Luke and Dayna's house in Springfield. It is so nice when we get the whole family together. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Valentines 2012

Every year since we have been married we have spent Valentines Day with Paul's brother Luke and his wife Dayna. This year we weren't able to make it down to Springfield and celebrate with them.

So this was our first Valentines Day at our little country house. We had a really nice evening. I made a nice dinner and set up the table with candles and chocolate hearts.

We wrote a note to each other on the wine bottle....

This day was a great excuse to dress up and have a fancy dinner.

Bass Pro Headquarters

While down in Springfield, MO for the Super Bowl we visited the "GRANDADDY OF ALL OUTDOOR STORES". It is the National Headquarters for all Bass Pro Shops. The place was massive! We spent a few hours browsing.
