Sail-away #1

We survived the first two weeks!

Sail-away number one started on a Monday evening. Our first group was amazing. We had two Americans, five Canadians, and two Germans. Paul and I learned how to sail the Encounter along with everyone else. It was a tough but interesting time and by the end we had it figured out pretty well.

Here is the group with us on the boat....

The boat in a little island cove....

The gib and the staysail...

The beautiful spinnaker sail...

We had Chris Thomas on board to lead the morning devotions...

A chair for the skipper....

He loved it!

Paul and Kenton gathering seating for the fire...

A monastery on top of one of the Greek islands...

Mariana (the cook) and me at the monastery

Our feet

The group out for dinner one night....

We leave this Monday for Sail-away #2. I will post again when we return in two weeks.

Until next time....
