Sail-away #6

So we are done with the summer sail-away season! Our last group was all German. They were  wonderful people to work with and a great way to finish off our time here in Greece.

We are in Volos, Greece now and will head to Athens tomorrow evening. Tonight is the last night on the boat. And so ends our adventure on the Encounter! I'll update when we get to Athens!

Enjoy the pictures from the last two weeks:

Saying goodbye to Jonny at the bus station

Sail-away #6 group with the spinaker sail

Paul was able to go para-sailing!

We all went out for dinner one evening...

The restaurant served goat and they hung a bell for each one...

Paul did some filming for the boat. Here we are sailing around him while he films.

And he filmed some from the bowsprit until he got sick!

Saw a beautiful sunrise....

 A crazy sailing day!!

Marianna and one of the guests, Andreas

Paul on the anchor

Me on the stern line...

Marianna with a load of grapes!

Paul and Jonny taking the trash into town...

The gaff came out of its lines so Paul had to climb up on the boom and pull it back in!

Paul and I swam to the beach and tried to bring dry towels....

Fresh octopus hanging in one of the cafes!

One last chore before we leave....cleaning the bottom of Theo's rib....
