Fire on Padre Island

Off the coast of Corpus Christi there is a place called Padre Island National Seashore. You can actually drive on the beach for miles! Lovely spot.


Friday evening we decided to head that way with firewood and marshmallows. The sky was very clear and all the star were shining. The crackling of the campfire and the sound of the waves crashing on the beach was so relaxing to hear. We hope to go back there and camp one day.

I didn't get many good pictures as it was dark and I am not that knowledgeable with the camera yet. But here are some of my favorites:





Joe took this last one with the timer on the camera. Bonnie is there. You just can't see her behind Joey. :)
